MEANING OF LEVAV

LEVAV

  1. inner being, mind, will, heart, soul, understanding

  2. as seat of courage

Levav is Hebrew for heart. In ancient times, the heart represented more than just the physical organ, it represented the inner life where emotions, reason, and will resided. Levav also means the seat of courage. Levav Leadership Consulting facilitates courageous cultures by paying attention to the inner life of leaders.

About The Dare To Lead Program

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. As a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator I focus on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings and coaching to help individuals, teams and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Individuals who successfully complete the full 24-hour Dare to Lead™ program will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put a Dare to Lead™ Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.

I think the process was really engaging for our work group and there was
a lot more participation than I expected. Melissa did a great job at giving
us concrete examples of the teachings. I felt that information was very
helpful to not only look at my interactions at work but also at home.
— Dare to Lead Participant

Daring Greatly™ and Rising Strong™ groups are offered four times per year - Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.  Each group lasts seven weeks and has a limited enrollment of 12 people.

Integration Sessions - The key to Daring Greatly™ and Rising Strong™ is integration.  Integration sessions are available to people who have attended a Daring Way™ or Rising Strong™ group.

Daring Way

Daring Greatly
Daring Greatly™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. We will explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.

Rising Strong
The physics of vulnerability is simple: If we are brave enough often enough, we will fall. The Rising Strong™ process is about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of disappointment, failure, and heartbreak gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and Rising Strong, our clearest path to deeper meaning, wisdom and hope.

Integration Sessions
Daring Greatly™ and Rising Strong™ groups give participants tools for living life differently, but they take practice.  Integration sessions allow participants to explore with Melissa the shame triggers that hook them, how they are using armor and shame shields to disengage and protect themselves from vulnerability, how their values help to guide them during fall down moments, how they are off loading emotion and ways to live BIG with boundaries, integrity and generous assumptions.

Strengths Communicator Conversations
If you have taken Gallup's StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment, you may be thinking, now what? It's not enough to just know your strengths. Through a 1:1 conversation I will help you understand your strengths.  The 1:1 conversations give space for you to explore how you naturally use your strengths at work, at home and in life.  I will help you explore how your strengths give life to you and others.  After our conversation, I will create an original piece of art that represents your strengths and how they work together to impact and influence others in work and life.

StrenthsFinder conversations can be done independently or as a tool for team development.  Strengths based cultures are relational, they develop their work around people's strengths creating a culture of exploration, collaboration and influence.  Strengths development can benefit the workplace, community boards, educational institutions, church leadership teams and so much more.

Strengths conversations

One-on-One Strengths Conversations - $350 includes a 1:1 strengths conversation, an original piece of art that represents your strengths and a follow up coaching conversation.
